It became popular among impoverished designers and artists who could not afford to rent apartments or office buildings. These lofts typically have small floor plans and are two-storied, ranging from approximately 30-50 square meters in size with ceiling heights varying from 3.6 to 5.2 meters. Although the sales are calculated based on a single floor, the actual usable area can be double the sales area due to the utilization of vertical space. With its unique and diverse layout, loft apartments offer a much lower price per unit area compared to regular residential units. Their small size, coupled with affordable prices, has made them the preferred choice for young people nowadays.
